Lyndia “Lynne” Kayleen Wilson, beloved mother, grandmother (Nana), great-grandmother (Grandnana), and friend, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, at the age of 81.
Lynne was a compassionate and selfless woman whose life was defined by her love for others, especially those in need, and a true humanitarian.
Lynne was preceded in death by her parents Norma Jean and Carl Jones, her sister Sylvia Halfacre, her daughter Mona Palmer, and her grandson Shelby Diaz.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her daughter Robin Palmer, her son Lance Palmer, her grandsons Joshua David and Jordan Diaz (Amy), her great-granddaughters Lannie Barnhill, Melody David and Lily Diaz and her great-grandson Jayse Diaz
Lynne will be remembered not only for the love she gave to her family, but for the kindness she showed to people and animals who had no one else to turn to. Her generosity, compassion, and willingness to help others were the gifts she left behind-and it is the hope of her family that those who knew her will honor her memory by extending that same kindness to others.
Graveside services will be held at Mansion Memorial Park in Palmetto, FL on August 21st at 3:00 pm.
Rest peacefully in Paradise, Lynne, your kindness made the world a better place.
