It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Milagros Vivo Torres, 79 of Palmetto, FL, who entered into rest on September 28th at 11:00 am at Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Born on January 18th, 1946 in Utuado PR, to the late Juan Sanchez Vivo and Marcenlina Ocasio Vivo. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Maria's greatest joy was found in her family.
Maria is survived by her children, Lipidio L. Torres 4th and his wife, Pamela Novara Torres, Debbie A. Gutierrez, Lisa M. Ortiz and her husband, David Ortiz. Her Siblings Johnny Vivo, Miriam Vivo Hernandez, George Vivo and Vivian Vivo Rijos. Grandchildren Lipidio L Torres 5th, Amanda Gutierrez, Kenneth R Domschine, Courtney McManus, Kevin R Domschine, David J Gutierrez, Nicholas D Torres and Andrea L Torres. Great-grandchildren Jordan Torres, Ireland R Domschine, Kenneth R Domschine 3rd, and Lenora Domschine. Preceded in death by Juan Sanchez Vivo, Marcelina Ocasio Vivo, and Gloria E Calderon.
Maria will be remembered for her strong devotion to family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, Florida, on October 3, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
