Marie Forehand, 78, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on March 9, 2021. Marie was born in Plant city, FL September 12, 1942 and moved to manatee county in 1957 where she was an active member at Grace Baptist Church. She is preceded by her parents, Adaline and Hilton Hunter, and her brothers Eugene and Herman, sister Doris. She retired from La-Z-Boy Showcase. She enjoyed vacationing with her husband and friends in the Smoky Mountains. She is survived by her husband John, her daughters Brenda (Jeff) and Debbie, her siblings Faye and Sandra, her 6 grandchildren and her 9 grandchildren who love her dearly. She is best known as mom or nanny and will always be remembered for her home cooking, especially her coconut cream pie. Always in our hearts.
