After serving in the United States Navy, Marty became a Jeweler and worked in that profession for 40 years, becoming owner of Martin Jewelers in Parrish, Florida.
In 1993 Marty married JoAnn Mucha and together they had two children, Nicholas Rayce Neri and Julie Brianna Neri. Marty was an accomplished off-road racer and spent his free time racing.
Marty is survived by his wife JoAnn, children Nick and Julie, Mother Pauline Shaver, siblings, Joe (Laura) Neri and Perri Neri. Marty is predeceased by his father Raymond Neri and stepfather David Shaver.
Marty passed on his passion for racing to his son who will continue racing for his dad.
