

Mary Kathryn "Mary Kay" Adkins, 64, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1962, in Geneva, NY.
Mary Kay was raised in Penn Yan, NY and moved to Bradenton, FL to raise her family.
Mary Kay was the beloved wife of James Adkins and a devoted mother to Kimberly Ann Davis, Kristin Lee Miller, and Patrick John Fullagar. She was also a loving stepmother to Daniel James Adkins, Sarah Marie Russo, and Michael Paul Adkins, embracing each of them with the same love and care that defined her life.
She was the cherished sister of Timothy Peter Killian and the beloved daughter of the late Arthur Roger Killian and Carolyn Marie Myles.
Of all the titles she held, her favorite was "Nana." Mary Kay adored her 11 grandchildren, Savannah Adkins, Alex Diaz, Mateo Diaz, Micah Russo, Faith Russo, Teagan Adkins, Noah Miller, Jake Adkins, Logan Davis, Paige Davis and Olivia Miller who brought immense joy to her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating memories they will carry with them forever.
Mary Kay retired after faithfully serving as a chaplain for Hideaway Storage, where she ministered to and encouraged countless people through her compassion, faith, and servant's heart.
Her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was the foundation of her life. She lived her faith daily, sharing God's love through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion for others. Her gentle spirit, comforting words, and steadfast belief touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary Kay had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved. She could light up any room she entered with her warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine joy. To know Mary Kay was truly to love her, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her immediate family, Mary Kay leaves behind many beloved extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Mary Kay is now in the presence of her Savior, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live on through the family and friends she so deeply impacted.
A celebration of Mary Kay's life will be announced by the family.
