

She lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and generosity. A devoted mother of four children, she gave of herself selflessly, always placing the needs of others before her own. She retired after 37 years of service with Picatinny Arsenal. In her retirement she was a proud volunteer with Greystone Park Association in Morris Plains, NJ for more than 15 years and upon relocating to FL she volunteered with the St Francis X Cabrini Thrift Shop and was an active member of the St Francis X Cabrini Catholic Church. Her compassion and willingness to give her time and heart left a lasting impact on everyone she touched. She will be remembered as a strong, caring, and devoted woman who instilled in her family the values of love, perseverance, and service to others.
Mary Ann is survived by her four children: Maureen Flaherty, Timothy Flaherty, Daniel Flaherty (Monika) and Colleen Flaherty as well as 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Flaherty.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in both NJ and FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice in her memory.
Her legacy of love and selflessness will live on in all who knew her.
