I will always have fond memories of Mr. Mel. He was a kind man who loved his family and always made me feel welcome in his home. Pam and I were childhood friends and hung out all the time and I remember Mr Mel firing up the grill while we swam in the pool. You rest easy with the angels and have a beer with my dad.

Thank You uncle Mel for everything you have done for me all my life. You taught me how to swim when I was 7 years old, you threw me in your pool and said “ swim Ricky swim “ and I did!
When I needed a job after high school you brought me into the Carpenters Union with you and taught me everything I needed to know and that was 39 years ago .
To this day I still run into people who you worked with, that smile ... when ever you’re name is mentioned .
What a wonderful life you lead , it touched so many people . Thank You for your service to our country, you were certainly one of those they coined “ The Greatest Generation “ phrase for .
The world is a lot emptier today without you, but Heaven is a better place.
God Bless You and may you Rest in Peace.
