Nora Lela Sprengart

Nora L Sprengart received her angel wings on May 15th, 2025. She is survived by her Husband John, of 58 years, Daughter Andrea and two beautiful and adored grandchildren, Sabina and Declan. As well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Nora was predeceased by her daughter Danielle, brothers Ken, Bob and Hurk and her two sisters Joan and Karen.

Nora enjoyed spending time with her family be it in person, facetime or a phone call. She had a bottomless well of love that she shared with her family and friends. Nora was always able to find humor during the toughest of times. Bringing levity and a smile to the group. Nora was also fiercely loyal and a Mama Bear to the end. She was the simply “The Best”.

Nora’s life took her around the country growing up in Upstate New York, raising a family in Portland OR and retiring to Florida. Nora sought out the sunshine, warmth and water. Floating in her community pool soaking in the rays of the sun was a favorite pastime. Along with reading a good book, checking Facebook, tending to her Orchids and watching a favorite tv show. Not to mention her passion for animals, in particular dogs. Nora was an avid philanthropist to animal rescue organizations.

Nora will be placed at her permanent resting place on June 16th, 2025, 10am at Sarasota National Cemetery.
