Norma D. Hampton, age 78, of Ellenton, FL passed away on August 9, 2016. Visitation services will be held at Groover Funeral Home located at 1400 36th Ave E., Ellenton, FL 34222 on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5- 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10 AM located at Parrish United Methodist Church. Norma is survived by her husband Lewis D. Hampton of 61 years; 6 sons, Lewis D Jr, Don E (Debby), Jon E (Shala), Robert, James, and Jerry (Kelly) Hampton; 11 grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren. Interment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery.
