Paul Henry Jefferson passed away at home on October 18, 2018. He was 74. He was born on April 9, 1944 in Cambridge, Maryland. Paul is survived by his loving wife Debbie, stepchildren Amy and grandson Logan; JR (Aaren) and grandchildren Kennedy and Korie, Paul is also survived by a younger brother William Robins "Robby" Jefferson (Linda L.Jefferson and niece Margaret Ann Jefferson), and Linda A. Jefferson, wife of his other younger brother Douglas Feddeman Jefferson who predeceased him in 2008 and nieces Leslie, Jennifer and their children. He also survived by a dear cousin, Louise (Lincoln) and stepchildren; Selina, Vera (Denny), Helen, Alice and Romona and their families. Paul's parents Thurman P.Jefferson and Ellen Feddeman Jefferson predeceased him in 1984 and 1990, respectively.
Paul was a highly decorated United States Navy Veteran, serving in Viet Nam where he earned 2 Purple Hearts, The Viet Nam Campaign Medal, and The Navy Commendation Medal. He was very proud of his military service to his country. After leaving the service, he worked as a crane operator in California and Washington.
After retirement, Paul and Debbie lived the "RV life" and made many friends in their travels around the United States. Paul especially enjoyed keeping in touch with his family, as well as his high school, military, and RV friends. Paul was loved by all who knew him and will especially be missed by his lifelong friend Ronnie Horney, of Chestertown, MD.
