Phillipe Antonio Sarmiento

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Phillipe Antonio Sarmiento. Phillipe was born on July 23, 1996 and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on September 1, 2022. He was the youngest child to Juan Sarmiento and Anna Alvarez. After Phillipe graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2014 he started his career with Equestrian Show Jumping Events.

Phillipe is survived by mother Anna Alvarez, father Juan Sarmiento (Deborah), siblings Victoria, Jose (Meghan), Krystal (Josh), Esteban (Julie), Juanamaria, grandmother Marie Alvarez, nephews, nieces and many family and friends.

Phillipe was one of the must humble, caring, lovable young men anyone would have had the pleasure of knowing. His big contagious smile will be one of the things we miss the most. This is a grave loss for his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services will be held at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park. Phillipe will be laid to rest along side his eldest brother Juan Jr.

A visitation for Phillipe will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 502 26th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave East, Ellenton, FL 34222.
