Phyllis was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1954 and N.H. Technical College of Portsmouth, NH with a nursing degree. She worked most of her life in the nursing field retiring in 1995. She was active in New Hampshire politics and worked for many years with her father during his 25 years as a Representative in the N.H. House of Representatives. Phyllis had a passion for entertaining and golfing.
Phyllis was the daughter of William and Mary Kincaid of Dover, NH. She was predeceased by her only daughter Dorothy Elizabeth Jeffries of Riverton, UT and husbands, Charles H. Marrah of Bradenton, FL, John MacDonald of Lawrence, MA and Englewood, FL. and extended brother Francis LaPanne.
Phyllis is survived by her three granddaughters Beth Ann LeCroy (Adam), Sarah Althea Ford (Ronald) and Laura Bowen (Robert); eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, W.M. Kincaid (Valerie) and Charles Kincaid of Austin TX; and extended family members Daniel LaPanne, and Midge LaPanne, as well as their families.
She was a member of the Gold Star Wives of America and LDS Church of Venice, FL. There are no services planned at this time. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Pavilion of Downtown Venice, Sarasota Point Rehab, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and the Tidewell Hospice for their gentle and loving care of Phyllis.
