I was a caregiver for Ms Rachel until she went into the nursing home. I loved her like my own family.She used to say some cute little quotes.....Here are a few.
"Can't" died in the poor house.....I gotta go this way (pointing ahead with her little bony finger), I've been back there (pointing behind her).....I'm just here because I'm not somewhere else....I don't care if it rains or freezes cause I'm safe in the arms of Jesus.....If I ever give up, it's like this, might as well polish your shoes and wait for the undertaker.  So I try to keep my shoes polished and wait and wait.....
I had a wonderful life! My husband was always buying me something; he always wanted me to be happy. I am greatly blessed by her life.
