It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raul Nieves of Ellenton, FL who passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Raul lived a life of service to others. A dedicated maintenance technician, he was known for his compassion, sense of humor, and ability to fix just about anything. He enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Raul is survived by his beloved wife, Ivonne, and his children, Raul, Ricardo, Edgar, and Nayda, plus seven grandchildren. His humor and puertorican beans will be deeply missed.
