Robert Bryan Davis

March 15, 1958 – November 9, 2021
Obituary of Robert Bryan Davis
IN THE CARE OF

Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park

Bobby rose out of his wheelchair and entered heaven on November 9, 2021. Bob was born March 15, 1958 in Wilkinsburg, PA. He was predeceased by his father, Robert “Bob” Davis and mother, Vivian Davis. Surviving is his sister, Melanie Davis of Homosassa, FL, and nephews David and Bryan Kirven and niece Marcie Ward.

Bobby graduated from Norwin High School in 1976 and attended Thiel College and California State University. He worked at Westinghouse Airbrake and Briarcliff Pavilion in Pennsylvania. Bobby moved to Florida twenty-five years ago and joined his family in Bradenton. Bobby suffered a spinal cord injury in 2007 and was wheelchair bound but that didn’t stop him from getting around and enjoying life. He and his dog Tootie were inseparable. They were always together toddling around town in his wheelchair. Bobby loved music and was known for sharing tunes on Facebook and playing it at home. He loved attending concerts with his buddy Jimi. He especially loved Led Zeppelin and was lucky to attend their concert in July.

Bobby did things on his terms, but he was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. I want to thank the many friends and neighbors who looked after him recently. Bobby is now free of pain and rocking on! I’m going to miss that little bugger! Till we meet again, brother.
