Robert Hartley Gould Jr. (Bob or B0B-O to his family and friends) passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on March 28, 2022, he was 84 years old. He was born (November 30, 1937) and raised in Silver Beach, a small beach community located in Bronx, New York. After enlisting in the armed forces and meeting his wife of 61 years he moved with her back to Silver Beach to the house he was raised in to raise his own children. After visiting Florida with his family and with a lifetime love of the beach he moved with them to Pinellas Park, Florida. Upon retiring he and his wife moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area and enjoyed many years of traveling, sunshine and beaches.
Bob was a friend to all and could easily talk to anyone he met. He was a smart, kind, and sweet man. He loved his family, Lightning hockey (he and Diane had season tickets for many years), traveling, and had many wonderful evenings playing games with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Diane and his three children, Alison, Karen and Bill, his three grandchildren Anthony, Scout and Tim and many close friends and relatives.
