Ron and I worked together in the office equipment industry, and both left our employer to work for Skyline, selling Motorhomes (Ron) and Travel Trailers ( Me), Please notice they would not let us work together. However, Ron living in South Bend and I in Mishawaka needed to car pool to our plant in New Paris, Indiana as gas was approaching $1 a gallon. 
I was 23ish, Ron 40ish !  Ron with all his patience, at 6:45 am, would pound on my door on 10th street yelling " Are you going to work today?."
I was leading the life of a twenty three year old single guy and Ron was the model of what I should be when I would finally grow up.

I did finally grow up and I did emulate Ron Walker from a strong family life, strong work ethic, and above average common sense. 
I will miss my mentor, Ron Walker !

Ron was a great man and even though I've not seen him in years, we stayed in touch.  He was a mentor of mine in my early years of sales. Hard to find a better man than Ron, I'm already missing you old friend!!!
