

Samuel David Mock was born on October 10, 1935, in Goodway, Monroe County, Alabama. He was the fifth child born to McClain and Virgie Moye Mock, deceased He attended schools in Escambia County Florida, graduating from Jefferson High School, Tampa, Florida He joined the United States Air Force in September 1954. Samuel made a career of the USAF and served 20 years and 4 months. During those years he traveled to many places, stateside and overseas, spending 1 year in Vietnam and 1 year in Iran. In Vietnam he was awarded the Bronze Star and 3 Commendation Medals.
Samuel was of the Methodist faith and a member of Family of God United Methodist Church, Palmetto, Florida. Samuel was married to Margaret Anne Jones on December 21, 1957, In Palmetto. They have had almost 68 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Mock, and his three daughters: Cheryl Anne Mock Robbins (Robert), Susan Rebecca Mock Tabicman (Len) and Audrey Lynn Mock Owens. Also survived by four grandchildren: Ashley Rebecca Ormsby Carson (James), Amanda Anne Robbins Miles (Brian), Bradley Allen Ormsby (Erica) and Steven Anthony Folsom (Caitlin), nine great-grandchildren: Austin Tyler Miles, Emma Anne and Hunter Miles (Twins), Isabella Suzanne Carson, James Joseph Carson, Hannah Carson, Kai Martin, Samuel Joseph Folsom (Namesake) and Addison Lynn Folsom.
He joins his parents McClain and Virgie Moye Mock, sister Bernice Mock Creamer, sister Jeanette Mock, brother Isaac Mock, and grandson Robert Lee Robbins II in the arms of the Lord
