I loved Uncle S.O. as a second father to me and nothing made me feel more special than when he let me know that he was proud of me.  I look forward to seeing my father and him in Heaven, both now shed of the infirmities of age but once again the vigorous men we all loved.

We just learned yesterday that Spencer has gone to Heaven. We are so sorry we couldn't be there to pay our respect. He was so very dear to everyone who knew him.  We are praying for you and your family.

I thank God for allowing Mr. Parrish to cross my path at MCSO. He was great man and always had an encouraging word for me. I pray that you all find peace.

So very sad to hear of Uncle SO's passing. He always made you laugh. He and Genevieve were such a cute couple.  He will be missed but always remembered with a smile.

I just read of Spencer's passing and was saddened at the loss of a wonderful man on earth, but happy for Heaven's gain.  I remember him from growing up in Parrish and Parrish Baptist Church, and there are many fond memories there.  Now he is there with many of my loved ones who have gone on before us, and I know they will be happy to see him.  I know he will be missed greatly here.

Uncle S.O. was a great man - a true example of how a man should be - he commanded obedience but did it with kindness that made everyone love and respect him!  He will truly be missed!

I love you uncle s o you have always been a sweetheart and a good man.ill miss you but i know you will be  alright cause your with god now.

My sweet Uncle S.O., how you blessed our family!  So many fond memories of you; even the ones where I got in trouble and you scolded me - :)!  I loved you dearly.  What a wonderful man, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather!  Your stories will live on until we see you again in Heaven.  Your loving niece, Carol
