Following the Star Wars saga, playing poker with veterans, and sharing his knowledge of cars were all passions of Steve’s that he shared with hundreds of friends.
Because Steve was passionate about sharing his knowledge a scholarship fund is being established as a memorial to help others that need financial assistance to get training or certification for starting or continuing their career as an auto technician. In leu of sending flowers you can make a contribution to a scholarship fund that has been setup on the GoFundMe website at https://gofund.me/84915f33. Please contribute an amount that you are comfortable with and it will be combined with funds from Steve’s retirement savings to establish the scholarships.
Following the graveside service a get together is planned at the Gamble Plantation State Park in Ellenton, FL. Please join Steve’s family and friends in this casual outdoor location to share memories and stories about how Steve touched your life. There will be plenty of parking close to the picnic area and light refreshments will be provided.
