When Steve worked with the Manatee County School Board as a Security Officer, he really wanted a truck with a back seat to put the keybox on. We asked for two years and finally got one. I remember the day he opened the third door in the back of the new Ranger and said"This was worth the wait"

Remembering you today uncle Steve , I love you so much,  you were honestly the coolest uncle a girl could wish for . 

Steve was my best friend. I worked with him for about 18 yrs, and I miss his humor and friendship.  he was a great grandfather, always talking about taking his daughter, son in law, and baby to Disney.  I believe he had a heart of gold.  will miss you until we meet again, my friend.  rest well.

Steve my little brother.  So many memories.  I love you and I miss you and I will see you again some day.

He was so much more than a Father In-law,  he was my friend.  Anybody I talk to could not ever say a bad thing about Steve.  4 1/2 years ago, one of the biggest reasons we were able to get Andrew, those 2 were inseparable.  I wish he could have stayed with us longer.  Gone too damn soon.  Love you Steve,  memories of you are forever.

Steve was a hardworking and funny guy. I had the honor and privilege of working with him as a member of the Security Team for many years. He had insight and common sense and did whatever it took to get the job done. He and I served our county in Air Force. It has been many years since I last spoke with him, but I can still see him like no time had passed.
