Susan will be remembered as a loving wife of 42 years, parent, grandparent, Sibling or friend. Her spirit touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

She was a cherished wife of Richard Wayne Rolander, cherished daughter of the late Earl and lone Simpkins, Mother to Martin A Garcia (son) Amanda Viverito Garcia (wife of Martin) and granddaughter Brianna Garcia and Grandson Giovanni Garcia.

She was a loving sister to Van Simkins (wife Victoria) and Aunt to their two children. She was also a loving sister to Glen Simkins (wife Kimberly) and aunt to their three children. She was also a great aunt to her brothers' children.

She enjoyed traveling, swimming, fishing, cooking, canning, and watching her grandchildren cheer and play sports.

She was more than a beloved patriarch, "she was a woman of unmatched vivacity and warmth.' She cultivated a deep passion for life and music.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 28th, 2026. Guests are invited to share memories and celebrate Susan's life. Information to follow.

In Susan's honor, the family encourages friends to spend time with loved ones, share a meal, or help someone in need.

The family thanks relatives, friends, and neighbors, for their prayers, visits, and support.
