Thomas was a resident of Sylvania, Ohio and Ellenton, Florida. He served with the U.S Army. He also worked as an Operations Manager for Allied Van Line, and retired from Home Depot. He loved family time, baking dozens of goodies at Christmastime, and his dog Fred.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Marjorie; siblings: Harold (Nancy), Kathy Schultz (Jim), Jim (Janey), Mike, Thelma Lipnicky, Connie Madden (Bill); four children: Debbie Szymanski (Ken), Ron (Colleen), Tom Jr. (Desiree), Polly Schultz (J); grandchildren: Jaclyn Schroeder, Alison Bischoff, Cody Booth, Ben Booth, Aaron Booth, Amanda Booth, Courtney Booth, Justin Booth, Peyton Schultz; three great-grandchildren, Esther, Bentlee, and Payton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, Florida. Visitation will precede the service from 11-12 PM.
