Vicki Hammack

holding hands with her beloved sister, who never left her side. She was born on October 2, 1961, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, C. M. “Preacher” Hammack and Betty C. Hammack. She is survived by her sister Chelli (Dan) Whidden; niece Shea (Cody) Giltner; niece Whitney (Cody) Barrs; nephew Ryan (Ashley) Whidden; six grandnieces and

grandnephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Mississippi.

Vicki graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi and obtained two master’s degrees from Stetson University. She then worked as an educator in Lake County, Florida. She was an active member of the Laurel Animal League, Eastern Star and Alpha Omicron Pi. A die-hard Ole Miss Rebel and lover of all animals, she will be remembered for her compassionate spirit and the love she had for her family.

A graveside service will be held at Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi, where we will honor her wishes to be laid to rest with her parents, alongside her grandparents.
