Vicky Lynn Thompson

Vicky Lynn Thompson, 58, of Ellenton, Florida, passed away in her home on October 1, 2024. She was born on January 20, 1966 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania to the late Barbara (Mitchell) Thompson and George Thompson. She was the second oldest of her surviving siblings, Scott Thompson, Kirk Thompson and Raeanne (Thompson) Barlow.

Vicky worked as a server until she found her calling of being a caretaker for the mentally handicapped. She truly enjoyed her work. Over the years she developed long lasting connections with both her clients and co-workers.

In her spare time, Vicky loved spending her days in the sun gardening and doing home improvement DIY projects. She found pleasure in reading, listening to music, quilting and board games. She did a lot of traveling and even created quite the collection of shot glasses from the many places she had visited throughout her life.

She will forever be cherished by her children, Joe Thompson, Leeann Thompson, Dylan Weidner, and Tracey Thompson, and five grandchildren, Jeremy Thompson, Damien Heavner, Adrianna Nopal Thompson, Owen Mulcahy and August Thompson.

Vicky was a lively woman with a huge heart. She had a great spirit with a silly side and a unique sense of humor. Her memory will live on in the hearts, minds and souls of the many lives she immensely impacted throughout her time.

Due to the family's wishes, her service was kept private but a memorial service will be held for those who wish to come out and honor her beloved memory on November 24, 2024 at 4:00PM at the Monacrest Free Methodist Church in Monaca, PA.
