

Victoria (Vicki) Angeles Belmonte Uselton of Snead Island, passed away February 18, 2017 after a courageous battle against cancer. Vicki was born in Tampa, FL on May 30, NOYDB (none of your damn biz) and was a lifelong resident and beachcomber of Florida except for a few short years in the Hoosier State.
Vicki was very active in her community and with anything related to her children. Over the years, she was active in the Palmetto Elementary School PTO and Student Advisory Council and Lincoln Middle School SAC, President of the Palmetto High School SAC and was an active member of the Athletic Booster Club.
For many years, Vicki served as the President of Snead Island Community Association, and was an active member of the Bradenton Yacht Club, serving on the Crosthwait Fishing Tournament Committee. Vicki enjoyed her association with the “Lively” Snead Island Bunco Babes and also enjoyed the benefit of being part of the “Stoners” of Snead Island Crabbing Group.
Vicki loved traveling and has enjoyed many trips to their Cabin in Maggie Valley, NC and great vacations from island hopping in the BVIs, annual family reunions in Englewood Beach, FL to Skiing in Park City, UT. She could also make the most of just a simple boating outing to Egmont Key or Longboat Pass. Making memories with family and friends encompasses the passions that Vicki lived by.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Belmonte, Mary Garcia Belmonte, Step-Mother, Sue Belmonte, and by two brothers, Casey Szada and Eddie Belmonte.
She married the love of her life Michael Ross Uselton on February 18, 1989. They have three children, daughters, Nicole Longino, Tayler Uselton, and son, Brett Uselton. Grandchildren, Katy, Vivian and Victoria Austin Longino, and her Lab Maui. Sisters, Cheryl, Laura, and Patty. Brothers Thomas, Joseph, Dale, David, Ned, Leon, and Larry. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, cousins, In-Laws and great friends.
A gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Groover Funeral Home 1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL, with a private family entombment at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood. A Celebration of Life and Beach Bash will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 4212 Redfish Ct, Snead Island on site of her dream home. In honor of Vicki’s life, the family requests Beach Casual attire for the celebration.
