Viet Tran, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, surrounded by family in his home in Parrish, Florida. Born March 6, 1948, in Quảng Ngãi, Vietnam, Viet was a strong-willed and caring father, grandfather, and friend. He was a loving father who fought to protect his family, friends, and country. He spent his life supporting his family through all manner of trials and tribulations, from immigrating to watching them grow to the wonderful people they are now. At the end of the day, he cherished the time he had with his family, often spending the nights with all kinds of food and drink they brought to try. Viet is survived by his wife, Kha Nguyen, children: Minh Tam, Minh Hoang, Minh Chau, Kim Sang, Minh Thu, and Anh Thu and their grandchildren.
