Please accept our condolences at this difficult time.  We live across the street and Mr. Elton was always very kind to our boys.  He would come over when we were playing catch in the front yard and give the boys some pointers on thier pitching and throwing and he would stick around and chat for a while.  He always donated money for the block party and said "spend it on the kids".  The kids would all go over to him and give him a thank you card and chat with him.  He will be missed by us all on the block.

Your family is my thoughts and prayers.  Cherie and I have spent many lunches talking about our fathers.  They were about the same age and it was a special bond.  My Dad passed away a few months ago and I was so sorry to hear about your loss now.  They were both great husbands and fathers and examples to live up to. My prayers are with you all this week.

I have so many fond memories of Mr. Elton, knowing him since I was a child.  He will be deeply missed.  Praying for comfort during this difficult time.
