

Cressy Minjares Cardenas, a beloved matriarch and radiant spirit, departed from this world on May 22, 2025. She graced our lives with her presence, having been born to Clemente and Concha Minjares on May 5, 1945.
Cressy experienced life with a joyful heart, finding profound happiness in simple pleasures. She was an ardent fan of classic westerns, particularly reveling in the adventures of "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke." Food was a source of joy for her, and she delighted in each meal, often indulging in her favorite dishes—especially the cherished burrito that her nephew brought to her at the care home and indulging in the flavors from Burger King. Cressy embodied positivity and embraced life’s challenges with unwavering grace, shining brightly through every circumstance.
A devout member of her community, Cressy's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She cherished her time at church and had a profound respect for her Pastor Andy Combs. The love she had for her family and friends was apparent, and her warm spirit fostered connections that many hold dear.
Cressy is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Jesse Cardenas, her cherished parents, Clemente and Concha, as well as her siblings Candelario “Pelon” Minjares, Erinio “Neo” Minjares, Felipe Minjares, Flora Medina, Dominga “Dee” Magana, Flavio Minjares, Balbina Munoz, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Their memory will forever be intertwined with hers.
A celebration of Cressy's remarkable life will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Visitation will commence at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Valley Chapel in Eloy, Arizona, with burial immediately thereafter at Eloy Memorial Park.
Services have been entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Services ~ Valley Chapel. Cressy will be dearly missed; her legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
