Erma Smith

Erma Smith, aged 74, of Eloy, Arizona, peacefully departed this life on June 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was in the compassionate care of Hospice of the Valley, reflecting the warmth and comfort she offered to those around her throughout her life.

Born on January 9, 1951, to Votie and Irene Smith, Erma embodied kindness and resilience and dedicated herself to a life of service and devotion to God. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, inspiring all who knew her. With a heart full of love for her family and friends, Erma's presence illuminated every room she entered and offered comfort to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Oletha Cannon, Julia Smith (Albert) and Lula Smith (Votie Jr.), along with many cherished nieces and nephews, each of whom carry forward her spirit and values.

Erma was preceded in death by her devoted parents Votie and Irene, as well as her beloved siblings: Doris Ford, Joyce Marie Robinson, Mary Francis Smith, Albert Smith, Votie Smith Jr., and Jonathan Smith. Their memories will forever intertwine with Erma's legacy of love and family connection.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life during the Funeral Services on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at The West Side Church of God and Christ in Eloy, Arizona. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 9:00 AM. Her final resting place will be at Eloy Memorial Park, where her spirit will find peace.
