

Eva Jean Hubbard-Cade, born on February 2, 1951, in Brinkley, Arkansas, peacefully departed this life on September 20, 2025. A devoted mother, sister, and friend, Eva will be remembered for her warmth, sense of humor, compassion, and vibrant spirit.
Throughout her life, Eva cultivated a variety of interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She had a passion for sewing, crafting beautiful creations for her family that reflected her creativity and skill. Her culinary talents were equally impressive she found great pleasure in cooking and loved to try new recipes to share with her family. Additionally, she was also an avid reader and loved movies.
Above all, Eva cherished spending quality time with her family, making unforgettable memories through shopping outings and special gatherings.
Eva leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her sons, Samuel Hubbard III and Cedrick Crawford; her daughters, Shawndrea Thomas, Shimeka Hubbard, Lynisha Cade, and Annikiwa Caulton; her sisters, Doris-Ann, Anita, Tallulah, Augustine, and Brenda; and her brothers, Frank, Edgar, Floyd, Wilbert, Deacon and Dennis. She is also fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy in her life.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Wardell and Lula Cade; her husband, Samuel Hubbard Jr.; and her son, Terran Hubbard. Their memories remain a cherished part of her legacy as she reunites with them in eternity.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that Eva’s cheerful spirit and meaningful contributions to their lives will endure in their hearts forever. As they navigate this difficult time, they remember her unwavering love and the indelible impact she had on all who knew her.
