Throughout his life, John was known for a kind heart and a steady wisdom that offered comfort and perspective to those around him. He also served in the Army Reserves, answering a call to duty with quiet commitment and respect for service.
John is survived by his brothers, James (New York) and Raymond (South Carolina) Hennessy, and his niece, Charissa Hennessy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hennessy and Gloria (Hickson) Hennessy, and his sister, Susan Hennessy.
