Mercedes Gobea, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, in Casa Grande, Arizona, at the age of 85.
Born on September 24, 1940, in Mexico, Mercedes lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. She was a caring and compassionate woman whose greatest joy came from being a loving wife and a devoted mother. Her home was always filled with warmth, kindness, and unconditional love, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her gentle spirit and generous heart.
Mercedes will be remembered for her unwavering love, her strength, and the countless cherished memories she created with her family. Though she is no longer with us, her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Mercedes is survived by her loving family, who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eloy Chapel, 601 C Street, Eloy, AZ 85131.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, 205 W. 8th Street, Eloy, AZ, followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will immediately follow at J. Warren Mountain View Cemetery, 15506 W. Skyway Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ.
