Prudencia "Weda" Ruiz, of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on August 10, 1956, she will be remembered with love for the care she gave to those around her and for the quiet joys that brought meaning to her life.
Prudencia found happiness in creative expression and in the simple, faithful routines of home. She loved to write and paint, pursuits that reflected her thoughtful spirit and her appreciation for beauty. She also cared deeply for her beloved pets, whose companionship was an important part of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Ruiz; her son, Andrew Ruiz; and her daughter, Reyna Garcia. They, along with all who knew and loved her, carry forward the memory of her presence, her interests, and the love she shared in everyday life.
Prudencia was preceded in death by her mother, Prudencia Sanchez Garcia; her father, Jesus Maria Portillo Garcia; her brothers, Raymond Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Alejandro Garcia, and Juan Garcia; her sister, Isabel Garcia Sanchez; and her great-grandson, Alexander Almond.
