Romelia M. Baldenegro

Romelia "Romie" Mediano Baldenegro, 78, was born to Jesus and Josefina Gonzales on September 8, 1947, in Ysleta, Texas. She passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Romelia dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to working in education where she touched the lives of countless children with her patience, kindness, and caring spirit. She had a natural gift with children and was known for her warm heart, gentle guidance, and ability to make those around her feel loved and supported. Whether in the classroom, at home, or among friends, Romelia carried herself with compassion and generosity, always putting others before herself.

Above all, Romelia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She loved spending time with her family while creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love. Her strength, wisdom, and nurturing nature made her the heart of her family and a source of comfort and encouragement to many.

Romelia will be remembered as a truly wonderful woman whose kindness, love, and selflessness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Omar) Olmos of Casa Grande, Arizona; her son Anthony (Brittany) Baldenegro of Casa Grande, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gabriel Baldenegro; her son, Gabriel Baldenegro Jr.; her daughter, Esperanza Baldenegro; her grandson, Joseph Olmos; and her great-granddaughter, Lisa Olmos.

Visitation will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd., Casa Grande, AZ 85122, on March 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Rosary & Funeral Mass will take place at External Service Location, 205 W 8th St, Eloy, AZ 85131, on March 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Eloy Memorial Park, 5839 E Milligan Rd, Eloy, AZ 85131, on March 13, 2026, from 11:30 am to 11:45 am.
