So many great memories of a wonderful man. Funny jokes shared in the Cath lab, and he would laugh with his shoulders moving up and down :-) Memories of strolling the beach in San Diego with Sharon and Tief; visiting with Theresa and kiddos; going to meetings in Seattle, working on a NRMI paper together; him teaching me how to do caths (though I could never make it look as effortless as he did); going to their house near Forest park for a staff BBQ; eating cherries Jubilee (with Ted Drewes of course!). A great cardiologist and friend. He is very much missed but will not be forgotten. Hugs, Linda Peterson and Clark McKenzie

So sorry to hear of Alan's death. Knew him all through our grade school years. Knew how far he would be able to go in his future by how smart he was.  Our prayers go out to family and close friends.

I met Alan in grade school at St. Cecilia's in St. Louis.  We all knew, even back then, that Alan was destined for great things.  I was also fortunate to go to the same high school as Alan, and see his leadership abilities really take off.  I had been in contact with him for the past year, in the process of nominating him for our high school's Wall of Fame.  It was really nice to be in touch with him once again.
My sincere sympathy goes out to all of you whose lives he touched in so many different ways.  He was a truly outstanding person.
