10:15 am. on September 19, 2025, at Miramar National Cemetery, 5759 Nobel Drive, San Diego, California 92122.

Bobbie Jane Regan was born March 18, 1933 in Manito, Illinois. She is the daughter of Frederich D. Parkin and Mary Elizabeth Cranwill, and sister to Cranwill “Butch” Parkin of Pekin, IL, Joseph Parkin (Deceased) and Larry Parkin (Deceased).

Bobbie attended the Manito/Forest City School District in Central Illinois and eventually moved with her former husband Harold Meyer (Deceased) and four children, Mike, John, Robyn, and David to Denver Colorado in 1954. There, Bobbie then met her late husband, Thomas Joseph Regan (Deceased), in 1963. They were married in 1965 and had three children together, Thomas “Pat”, Holly and Sean..

In 1985, Tom and Bobbie moved to Encinitas, California where they enjoyed early retirement, a beautiful home, and frequent visits from children and grandchildren.

Bobbie was a devoted and loving mother of seven children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Bobbie loved being a grandmother and spoiling them rotten. When she was not shopping, dining out or in the yard gardening and pruning her rows of roses, you could find her sitting in her favorite chair, enjoying a glass of wine, and teasing her husband, Tom, who sat beside her in his spot on the couch.

Bobbie loved to host holidays with her children and grandchildren where she often told stories about her childhood and all the stories that come with raising seven children.

Bobbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Mike and Sybil (Praski) Meyer of Denver, CO; John and Sherrie (Mills) Meyer of Denver, CO; Richard and Robyn (Meyer) Taylor of Castle Rock, CO; Thomas Patrick

Calea Smith of Fayetteville, NC; Brooke Meyer of Mountain View, CA; Brittany Taylor of Lone Tree, CO; Kyle Taylor of Montrose, CO; Hannah (Meyer) Bruttig of Sana Ana, CA; and Logan Meyer of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren include Darren Meyer’s child, Judah Meyer; Kyle Taylor’s two children, Lloyd and Bradley Taylor and Logan Meyer’s two children, Callen and Brae Meyer; Hannah (Meyer) Bruttig’s two children, Peter and Penn Bruttig.
