

Born on April 25, 1956, Debra lived a life full of warmth, strength, and compassion. She will be remembered for her generous energetic spirit, sharp wit and humor, bright mind, and unwavering love for her family, friends and Doberman Pinchers. She is an animal philanthropist especially for animal rescue causes.
Debbie graduated from The University of Texas after receiving a scholarship to play tennis. She proceeded to further her education with a law degree from Willamette University. She brought confidence to the room with her stellar practice of law which included service in the US Air Force as a Judge Advocate General Officer, insurance defense attorney, and private practice as mediator and arbitrator.
Debra is survived by her longtime partner/spouse, Candace Curlee and brother Jeffery Dominski. She was preceded in death by her father Fredrick Dominski and mother Barbara Swan Dominski.
A celebration of Debra’s life will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on August 15, 2025 at 1:00pm. Please arrive to the cemetery by 12:30pm.
A reception will follow at Debbie and Candace's Residence 526 Shanas Lane Encinitas, CA 92024 at 2:30pm following the service at Miramar National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Doberman and Little Paws Rescue, or Bella and Sunshine Rescue.
She touched many lives with her kindness and grace, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
