Ina Louise Sandusky

She was born on November 26, 1929, in Caruthers, California, to Thomas Jefferson Mills and Margaret Elizabeth Dawson Mills. She was the second youngest of six children. Ina graduated from nursing school in 1948 and went on to have a remarkable career as a Registered Nurse for nearly 46 years.

Ina was a longtime resident of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, having moved there from Del Mar in 1970. She had a deep love of gardening and, in her later years, could often be found sitting in front of her home, greeting neighbors and delighting in visits from local dog walkers—always with treats ready for their dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sandusky; her granddaughter, Adele Sandusky; her younger sister, Donna Ruth Clevenger; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
