Margaret Elizabeth Cooper

Born February 8, 1934 in Barboursville, Kentucky, Margaret was the daughter of Herman and Susan Kelley. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Margaret loved her church, watching Wheel of Fortune, attending great-grandchildren activities and enjoying her favorite See’s Candies chocolates. There was always a smile waiting for you and she always had time to listen and talk over a cup of coffee.

She is survived by her husband Loren Kenneth Cooper and sister Fannie Disney. Her children Darlene Kelley Keene, Wanda Keene Stuart, Anthony Charles Keene, Timothy Ray Keene and step-children Robert Cooper and Sandi Orel. Margaret was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Margaret was preceded in death by brothers Henry Kelley, George Kelley, Butler Kelley, Ben Kelley, Samuel (Uncle Jack) Kelley, Paul Kelley, Harvey Hensley, William Hensley, Robert Kelley and Millard Kelley. Sisters Ruth Kelley, Corine Kelley, Dorothy Kelley, Martha Hensley, Margaret Elizabeth Hensley and grandson Thomas Hewitt.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday February 11, 2023 at El Camino Memorial Funeral Home in Encinitas, California. Margaret will be laid to rest in the family resting place, Kelley Cemetery in Cannon, Kentucky; date to be announced.
