Debbie and Andy,

I was devastated to hear the news of y(our) lost. I have been Mike’s barber for the past 2 years now and between Mike, Mathew and I we’ve developed a great friendship. I’ve always admired him for his hard work. At times I had to remind him to rest because he would sit in my chair falling asleep while I would shave is beard. He had a great smile, very determined. He would occasionally talk to me about stocks, and how Bitcoin would be the new way of the world. I wanna thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts about your son and I know that no words can explain how hurt you truly are. He was a great friend and at times I could still hear his laugh. My condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Ossiris Lynch

I was privileged to be Michael’s 8th grade teacher at The Nativity School. Michael stood out as a quiet leader who, though he was tall and handsome and incredibly athletic, had a sort of sweet humility about him. Wherever he went, a flock of friends followed. A new boy appeared on the scene in 8th grade, and Michael immediately made a place for him. I rarely saw them apart. Any teenage boy who loves his mother as Michael loved Debbie, has to have a precious heart. To see them together just melted mine. I am unable to attend his Celebration of Life service today, but I am there in spirit and offer my heartfelt condolences to the family and especially darling Debbie and Gia. 💞 Kim

So saddened to learn of Michael’s passing. I was recently telling a story to my family about substitute teaching for Michael and his class when he was in 7th grade and laughing about the funny things that happened that day. Michael was always a friendly, polite and kind person with a great sense of humor and I looked forward to having him as a student in my classes. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

While visiting the kids when they were young Dimitri and I came to Carlsbad so that Debbie and Andy could go on a short trip. Dimitri and the boys and Gia were in the pool. I stepped away to use the bathroom and got locked inside. After awhile Dimitri sent Michael inside to see what was taking so long.
I told Michael that I was locked in and get Uncle Dimitri.
Michael came back and slid a string under the Door. He said "Don't worry Aunt Chele I'll Save You!"

Dear Debbie, Andy, Drew, Nicky & Gia,
We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives. The day Sammy and Michael became friends 25+ years ago was the start of a beautiful friendship between them and our families. Michael was the ‘brother’ Sammy always wanted and how he loved being part of your boy gang. Michael was the sweetest, kindest and most sensitive boy. He was respectful, hysterically funny and a true and loyal friend. So many memories - t ball, baseball, soccer and lacrosse... He was a star athlete and a true leader. Sleepovers, beach parties, Surf Sessions, motocross with Andy, swimming in your pool, Communion and Confirmation, TPing the neighbors... so many fun times. All who were lucky enough to know your Michael love him. We will always hold him in our hearts. You are all in our prayers, in our thoughts and in our hearts.
Love you,
Lissy, Joe, Alex and Sammy Condurso
