Pattie McNelis Biller (born Patricia Ann McNelis in Germantown, Tennessee) left this world exactly as she lived in it — beautifully styled, surrounded by love, and wearing lipstick. She passed away peacefully in Encinitas, California, with her family holding her hand, Nag Champa burning, and Smooth Jazz in the air — just as she would’ve wanted.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Erin and Blaise, and her adored grandchildren, Gardner and Emory Rhae, who were her greatest joys. Pattie also shared a long and storied life with her husband, Scott.
A model, fashion buyer and interior designer by trade, Pattie lived life in full palette — from her homes in New Jersey and Florida, to the desert tones of Arizona and the coastal light of California. Her homes were always reflections of her artistry and God given talent — never too serious, with A LOT of color.
She was famous for her world-renowned pecan goodies, her collection of lipsticks, big-hair moments, and her love of laughter in all its forms — whether it came from a clever Limerick or a perfectly timed joke.
Pattie made beauty look effortless and joy feel contagious. She taught her loved ones that style and humor are not opposites — they are survival skills.
The family will hold a private memorial in Sedona, with a public celebration of life planned during Leo season (July 2026) — exactly as Pattie requested.
In lieu of flowers, the Billers ask that you put on your favorite lipstick, turn up the music, and raise a glass of Champagne to Pattie — a woman who designed her life, and everyone else’s, with color, courage, and a little sass.
