Bob was one of my roommates at San Diego State University.  We stayed in contact ever since we met, nearly forty years.. We had our monthly breakfast together at the Encinitas Cafe.  As a good friend,  I miss him dearly.  We had great discussions about family and life.   
Bob was always supportive of my business endeavors.  What can I say but you were a really good friend, I can only hope I was as much to him as he to me.   God Bless you Bob Greene.

To the Greene family,

Chris and I will always remember Bob out in the surf at Boneyards. We shared many weekday mornings together in the water enjoying the waves, the sky and the turtle, chatting about his family, his garden and his cats. He was so looking forward to his next trip to Hawaii to meet up with his children and grandchildren. We wish you all peace in this sorrowful time.  Bob will be missed.
