Scott Douglas Haid

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic and unexpected passing away of my greatest love; my husband and best friend, an amazing father, son and brother, Scott Douglas Haid on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at 10:50 AM. Scott was born on April 20, 1975 in Ontario Canada and died in La Jolla, California. He was 47 years old.

He was a loving, kind, joyful and selfless man who was often referred to by his family as “Happy Scott.” He was highly intelligent, hardworking, a determined person who is respected and admired by his family, friends, his congregation, clients and co-workers. He fiercely loved and adored his family.

Scott’s spirituality was strong. He put his faith in Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) and hope in the future promises in the bible (Revelation 21:4). He regularly serviced his Congregation in various ways and was loved by all.

Scott was a simple man when it came to his needs, yet an extremely generous man when it came to the needs of others. This shone brightly, especially when it came to his wife and children. His sense of humor, positive attitude and big smiles will be dearly missed. Forever and always, he will shine on in our hearts and memories. A beautiful soul that will be remembered always as our “Happy Scott.”

He is survived by his wife Jessica, daughters Jadyn and Sayla, and step-sons, whom he raised from a young age and considered his own, Dylan and Blake, parents Gary and Carol Ann, siblings Tashsa, Carissa, Wesley and Garrett, nieces Serena, Hailey and Auriella and nephew Robbie.

Private Services to be held Sunday June 26th, 2022 at 3 PM in Carlsbad, California.
