Lucy Drulias passed away peacefully in her own home on June 22, 2025. She was born to Greek immigrant parents who had four daughters and one son. Lucy graduated from George Washington High School in San Francisco. She met her future husband, George, at a Greek wedding; they were married 64 years. They raised two children, Debbie and Steve, in Mountain View, California. They retired to the beautiful beachside town of Encinitas in 1990 where Lucy continued her lifelong passion of playing doubles tennis. Lucy never missed a tennis tournament on TV. She loved animals and all her many dogs. She was a generous donor to multiple animal rescue groups. Lucy was a very kind and generous woman, and she was loved by many. A celebration of life will occur on August 9th at the Carlsbad Community Church, details to follow.
She is survived by her children Debbie and Steve as well as her brother Nicolas Kafkas.
