

Maria Kovacs, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away July 15, 2023
Surrounded by her family. She leaves behind an undeniable legacy of love, courage, deep faith and immense kindness which she blessed any person who had the honor of knowing her.
Maria was born on February 20, 1948 in Sajokazinc, Hungary. She was married to her late husband Joseph Kovacs who moved to the United States to build a family and live the American dream. She raised her family in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and worked for the Nestle corporation. She later on moved to Venice, Florida with her children following and was actively involved in their growing family.
She leaves behind her children, daughter Betty Kovacs Marian and son Zoltan Kovacs, daughter-in-law Sherry Kovacs, brother Alex Lemperger, sister-in-law Elizabeth Lemperger, three grandchildren who were the absolute light of her life and had a piece of her heart, Arianna Marian, Alex Marian, and Cody Kovacs who equally loved her the same and called her JuJu. And three nephews Norbert, Attila, and Andras Lemperger.
Maria was a woman you could not forget with her passion to live life to its fullest and made an impression that would last a life time with everyone she met. She loved her Hungarian heritage and was the Petofi Hungarian Club President. She volunteered countless hours over the years to uphold Hungarian traditions, especially cooking for hundreds of guests at the club to family celebrations or regular get together‘s.
Maria was a rare and special angel that always found the good and beauty in anything and anyone. For this reason she had made innumerable amounts of friends that became like family to her. She loved music, dancing, and the outdoors especially planting beautiful gardens. She was someone who on the toughest days stood strong and had an amazing sense of humor. She was a fashionista and made sure she always looked her best. She also loved animals especially her children’s puppies, Bella, Tiamo, Angel, Coco and Kylo. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family who she showed she loved each and every day of her life.
