Martha E. Healy

Martha was born in Arlington, Massachusetts in 1934. She grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts. Her father Merrill Norlin was principal of the middle school and her mother Viola was a teacher in Lexington. Martha graduated from Lexington, Massachusetts and then LaSalle College in the Boston area with a BA degree at the age of 19. Martha is survived by her husband Jim Healy and 4 daughters living in New Hampshire, Lorene, Wendy, Beth and Melissa. She and Jim were married for 56 years. Martha was president of the Hopkinton, New Hampshire women's garden club in the early 90's. She played for the Concord, New Hampshire traveling tennis team, was an avid golfer and at one time had a 12 handicap. Along with sports she maintained 9 flower gardens, 75 Christmas trees, a grape vine and a raspberry patch. While living in Rotonda West, Florida she kept on gardening.
