Mary Lou Weingart Davidson, 87, went home to be with her Lord on March 15, 2019. She was born on July 29, 1931 in Salem, Ohio to Walter and Mable Weingart. She graduated from Enon High School in Springfield, Ohio, where she spent most of her adult life. She was married to the love of her life and best friend, Richard "Dick" Davidson, on August 5, 1950. She worked at a bank for a short while before starting her career as a proud Air Force wife and the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother ever. She was also her husband's secretary, bookkeeper, right hand woman, and confidante in their RV business for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband while they were in the service and lived in Colorado, Texas, Alaska and Mississippi, but they always came home to Springfield, Ohio to family and friends. Later they retired to Englewood, Florida, although they continued to travel. For 15 years, they drove from Florida to Alaska, usually by way of Ohio, to revisit a place they loved dearly. Besides traveling all over the country, she enjoyed her church and being a Bible School teacher for most of her life. She loved and cared for people always, which showed in her everyday actions and gestures. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mabel Weingart, and her older brother, Byron Walter Weingart. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Richard Walter Davidson; daughter Sharon (Don) Davidson Luke; son Terry (Lila) Davidson; two grandchildren, Christopher (Katie) Seegraves and Robin (Brian) Patrick; five great-grandchildren, Gavin and Mason Patrick, and Noah, Abigail, and Elizabeth Seegraves; her brother, Lynn (Betty) Weingart; and several nieces and nephews. A summer time memorial is being planned.
