Wendy was born on August 3, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA to P. Gerald and Mary Catherine (Vernesky) Schomer.
She graduated from South Fayette High School, and the University of Pittsburgh. She married Francis “Frank” Pacific on June 20, 1975, and enjoyed over 43 years of marriage. In addition to be a loving mother and wife, she spent most of her career as a teacher.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Frank, two sons Vince Pacfic (and wife Monica) of Pollock Pines, CA, and Daniel Pacific (and wife Jenni) of Alameda, CA. Her siblings were Barbara Schomer (deceased) of Pittsburgh, Philip Schomer (deceased) of Fort Myers, Pam Russo of Pittsburgh, PA and Northport, FL, and her twin sister Roxanne Shute of Pittsburgh, PA.
There will be a funeral mass on March 15, 2019 at 11:00 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, in Englewod, FL.
