

CLOWER, Betty Columbine 93 of Englewood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Grace Brethren Village with her family at her side. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years Ivan E. in 1996, one nephew Frank Clower. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons and daughters-in-law Mark Clower and Ginny Barker of MD, Steve and Susan Valley - Clower of Dayton; grandson Joshua Baker, two granddaughters Stephanie Clower and Tasha Njoes, two nephews David and Daniel Jackson, one niece Ellen Nixon and special friend Linda Pierce. Betty was a graduate of Xenia Central High School, St. Elizabeth School of Nursing where she earned her RN degree, Central State University had been a school nurse for the Huber Heights Schools and St. Peter’s School in Huber Heights and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Private family graveside services will be at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the YMCA in memory of Betty.
